Phothala has been in the optical field since 2007. You can call her "Po". She moved here from Iowa. She enjoys working in optical because she gets the opportunity to meet new people and it allows her to help them. Away from work, she likes to spend her time with her children exploring Minnesota's culture, activities, and food. Her interests are art, outdoors and pets. She dislikes tomatoes, radish and cottage cheese. A fun fact about Po is that she LOVES food, and is willing to try anything.
Cassie has worked as an optician since 2008. What she enjoys most about optical is helping patients pick out new glasses, along with all the ‘behind the scenes’ work that needs to be done. She graduated college in 2012 with a degree in Criminal Justice and in 2015 become a Certified Dog Obedience Trainer. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, stepdaughter, and their 3 fur kids. Cassie and her husband also foster dogs through a local rescue, so as you can imagine, they have their hands full of lots fur, but love ever moment of it!
Barb has been an ABO Certified Optician for over 25 years. She graduated from Anoka Technical College. She loves being an optician and helping patients. She loves that technology has greatly improved lens optical through new digital lenses in both single vision and in progressive lenses to give us sharp and clearer vision. The new progressives are giving us back the sight we are losing as we get older and being more natural than our old choices of lined bifocals and trifocals. In her past lives, so she would call it, she was a beautician, a daycare mom and a stay at home mom.
Ha joined our team September of 2017. She has always been interested in optical and hopes she can further her career in the optical field. She had the opportunity to study at Walman University and learned a great deal about optical and ready to help patients with all their optical needs. She lived in Southern California and Arizona for about 10 years total, she moved back to be closer to her 2 nephews and spends a lot of time with them. She loves to be near the water, so you can find her on Lake Minnetonka with her nephews in the summer.
